If you’ve been subscribing here for a while, you know I’m not great at staying quiet. There’s just too much to talk about — especially when it comes to pregnancy, birth, and everything that happens after.
So I’m thrilled to introduce Let’s Talk About Birth, my new limited podcast series. The first mini episode is out today with our first FULL episode set to launch Monday, March 2nd (with new episodes every Monday).
Birth is one of the most significant experiences a person can go through, and yet the information landscape around it is... a lot. Unsolicited advice from every direction. Misinformation running rampant online. A medical system that, let’s be honest, isn’t always showing up the way it should for pregnant people. It can feel impossible to know what’s actually true, what matters, and what you can let go of.
That’s exactly why I made this podcast.
Let’s Talk About Birth is my attempt to cut through the chaos — with evidence-based information, honest conversations, real guests, and yes, some humor along the way. Whether you’re pregnant right now, have been through birth before, are supporting someone you love, or are just genuinely curious about how all of this works, this series is for you.
This podcast is also a companion to my upcoming book, The Birth Book: An OB-GYN’s Guide to Demystifying Labor and Delivery (preorder now!), which is all about pulling back the curtain on labor and delivery so every pregnant person can walk in feeling informed, empowered, and ready.
Today’s mini episode is the introduction — who I am, what this show is, and why I think this conversation matters so much right now.
I can’t wait for you to hear it.
And as always — let’s keep talking!
Until next week,
Dr. Jen
